Or the batteries in a cart are bad. Did you try swapping chargers/carts to see if the problem stayed with the charger?

To:John PhelanParticipantI imagine it didn’t do much for the mower blades, either.

John PhelanParticipantDon,
If the Word version doesn’t show up, we have Acrobat Pro at work and can probably turn the PDF version back into an editable Word Doc for you to use. Just send over what you have if you want to do this and I’ll see if we can convert it. Also, which version of Word are you using – 2010, 2013, 2016 or Office 365? It may make a difference in how Acrobat does its magic.
Now that I think about it, the PDF may have the name of whoever created the file embedded in the meta data of the file (depends on how their computer was set up when they saved it as a PDF). If you look at Properties of the PDF (File/Properties/Description), it may lead you to the prime suspect on the project.
Let me know if you need help.

John PhelanParticipantTim,
I would suggest checking with John DeRosa about anti-virus software that may already be running on that machine. John installed the whole thing a couple of years ago. He’s out in UT flying this week but he can be reached by phone or text message at 224-848-2063.

John PhelanParticipantInteresting. DeRosa & I will have to check it out.

Then ran the roller over it to make sure it didn’t move. If we got weeds mid-summer, we burned then with a torch. Don’t use gasoline to burn them. That will blacken the rock when it burns. Use a propane torch or another blast of RoundUp or Triox.
Make sure the rock is low enough that the mowers can go over it without damaging the cutting blades.
I can understand the pea gravel issue. Propwash (and the mowers) will fling pea gravel all over the place, including at the tail of the plane and the glider on tow.
Stay safe out there.

The tractor Owner’s Manual/Service Book is in the file cabinet in the office. I may have some info at home that would tell us the Model #. I’ll have to take a look when I get home tonight.

John PhelanParticipantLots of good glider info covered in the CLGC soaring safety seminar on Feb. 23rd at Elgin Community College. Highly recommended for SSI members. It serves as the annual safety meeting for the Club, if I recall correctly.
Always a great time to learn more about soaring and start thinking about the 2019 season. A full day of learning and having fun while we can’t fly.

John PhelanParticipantEd, Glad to hear you are making progress. Are you accepting visitors out in Elmhurst?
