Hello Rich, We had a soda machine for several years. We got rid of it a couple years ago as it wasn’t maintained and I think it had some problems dispensing. I don’t think we need one at the field. But we can put it on the BOD agenda to talk about it.

I will be out of town on Saturday so I won’t be able to help with the staples. There is a metal detector in the radio room hanging up on the wall next to the radios. I don’t know if it works, it may need batteries of some sort. Just an FYI. Thanks for taking on that task and I hope you get some volunteers.

I just got off the phone with the FAA. They do not file Notams (notices to airman) for private airports so we will be posting two large white X’s at the threshold markings for runway 9–27. This will advise aircraft attempting to land at Sky Soaring that the runway is closed. This is a normal practice for closing runways.

After flying and before you leave on Saturday I would like help to disassemble the PW-5 and put it in its trailer and get the wing stands and fuselage cradles down from the attic.

November is the month that we disassemble the gliders and it’s good to get a head start on nice days. Watch for messages in the coming weeks seeking help on disassembly. Like last year, we will store all the club gliders in the club hangar.

    Hello Dick,

We had a change in Secretary several months ago and we hope to get the minutes up on the website soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Glad to hear their was flying on both Saturday and Sunday and
that their will be an operation today. Unfortunately, I won’t be
able to make it out there today. Be safe operating out of the east
end and know your wind limits.
