I’d like to add a topic idea, between #4 & 8, even tho I cannot instruct. It would be authored by one of our instructors that are SSI accomplished CC flyers, to help those of us lagging that skill.
As a power pilot, I have done many long CC flights SEL, ..the planning, the ADM in flight, risks, but doing it in a sailplane is still eluding me to this day. Being able to go to a destination, and return safely in these congested airspaces, should hold a place in the learning. Thanks, Denny
Art donated the Mule, so he knows a lot about the Accord parts list for that model. He ordered the exhaust pipe repair parts done in early 2019.
Doing what they do in Gdansk Poland, at that Aero club, is definitely Not what I would want at Sky Soaring, as a club member. I desire the kind of club that Larry K. described, the original concept of SSI.As a reminder to the incoming Board slate, I would like to release the task of logging flight sheet Stats over to another SSI member, for 2021 season. Looking for a new-or-old member volunteer…Probably a good, medium-sized Tablet pc ( ipad, Android,etc) with a built-in GPS, and running TopHat soaring App, may not be attractive to many, but it also works for a novice, does the Nav, igc file creation, etc.

I will be able to help with dis-assembly Sat.Is there still need to “fit-check” 2 gliders, for possible hanger storage? Is that task needed on Sat?Starting for next 2021 season in January, I’d like to offer up the background job roll as keeper of the SSI Flight Operations Log Stats (Excel) file, to any Member, who might like playing in Pivot tables, Excel macros, V-H Lookup’s. After 3 1/2 seasons, a new insight capability might be good.
