ParticipantDenny,John L did talk through the maintenance list during the membership meeting of other work items that are getting done beyond Pumpkin. You did one of them by repairing the battery PowerPole power cable on (I think) Stars and Stripes. Thanks.
Also, much of the information about ongoing work is the meeting notes for the meeting which can be found at https://skysoaring.com/ssi-files-docs/categories/meetingminutes/ (login required). Thanks,John H DeRosaOn Friday, February 25, 2022, 11:29:19 AM CST, SSI <webmaster@skysoaring.com> wrote:

ParticipantJohn and Greg – Easy boys. I get the same email too you know. I was working with Don Grillo on some ideas.Per Don we can’t use the skysoaring.com forum system to attach an image. It just plain will not work. So let’s try another way of sending the “Hampshire
Aerodrome” image by attaching it directly to this email reply outside of the SSI forum system.Don > cross your fingers but don’t hold your breath.Everyone else > cross your fingers AND hold you breath. If this doesn’t work we
may have to think about using some other methodology going forward for images.John H DeRosa

ParticipantI will look into what type of photo/video web sites might be use-able. We would want something that would be secure and allow all Sky Soaring members to forward/upload photos and videos.
Google groups could be an option. I already own https://groups.google.com/g/skysoaring.Let me know of any alternate ideas you might have.John H DeRosa(OHM Ω)“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”– Albert EinsteinOn Monday, January 31, 2022, 09:16:39 AM CST, Sky Soaring <webmaster@skysoaring.com> wrote:

ParticipantI did my last flight review via WINGS. Worked well. Rather than making three flights with one instructor on the same day, I took one flight with three instructors over the course of 2 years. Your spring check out flight(s) can count towards WINGS credit (talk to the instructor beforehand to let them know you would like this).Once you sign up at faasafety.gov you can select “Knowledge” seminars to take in different categories. Also you will begin to receive notifications of upcoming seminars which are usually 1-2 hours long. The Sky Soaring spring safety seminar will also count towards your requirement of 3 seminars. The Chicagoland Glider Council monthly winters seminars which we are working on being for WINGS credit. The next one is February 14th and will be about the Condor VR training system. See https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/chicagolandglidercouncil/join to sign up for email notifications.John H DeRosa(OHM Ω)“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”– Albert EinsteinOn Monday, January 31, 2022, 09:39:41 AM CST, Sky Soaring <webmaster@skysoaring.com> wrote:
