I was hoping for a little more enthusiasm….. This will be the last day to fly before (I was told) they start leveling the runway. Let’s start a new tradition and on the last day of the year we fly every club ship- maybe more than once. John Scott and I will be at the field. Who else wants to fly? What ship do you want to fly?

Count me in for two. Also, can I get a vegan dinner for my guest?

I’d also like to get one more day in. If the weather is nice, maybe we can bring in Pizza for lunch.

Just a thought….. Our members know that the center 40 feet is level, but a GA pilot who decides to practice landing on our field will not know this. Could there be a problem if a GA pilot land with one wheel on the level surface and the other wheel on the rough surface? Could there be a problem iIf our pilot (Glider or power) land on the level surface and turns onto the rough surface while going too fast?
Is it possible to level the spots between the ‘bumps’? Filling in the bumps will not make the surface level, but it will eliminate the bouncing.

I plan on coming out, but I will probably be there after 10:00am. We still need a tow pilot and a CFIG. Any volunteers?
