    Hi Aaron-

I’ll be around to help tomorrow as winch driver or instructor. I may need to leave as early as 1500 so an early start to our operation would be ideal.

    Hi John-

The plan for now as it stands is to install Condor and Microsoft Flight Simulator X with a couple of my favorite addons to the field computer in the office. I have already donated the requisite stick, pedals, and yoke for all you powered-airplane types.

The short answer is…yeah…we plan to do it but it’s pending setup by yours truly. Sorry for the delay.

I’ll go on record to agree with everything Logan has said. I don’t necessarily want to put myself in a position where I’m signing people off to fly single seat high performance or complex gliders with no firsthand information as to how they handle a high performance or complex glider.

Flight manual should be in the zipped pouch behind the pilot’s headrest in the aircraft. Also very important to find the maintenance logbooks to check the weight and balance condition. The ship had repairs some years ago and became somewhat tail-heavy. Some of our lighter pilots will need a shot bag or parachute to bulk up since it doesn’t accept conventional ballast. Those books should be in the office but very, very important to find and check them. Know thy CG.

I’d do some more flying/winch driving tomorrow but noon is the earliest I can get there

I wouldn’t call it a bust just yet…I’ll be out around 1-ish to get ready for ballooning and if the wx is better I’d do some launches.

My apologies comrades. My productivity will return to Party mandated levels after my next shipment of vodka

Tow plane is bent again? How am I supposed to procrastinate on writing all my CFI lesson plans if we never get to fly you guys? 🙁
