I enjoyed the flyby of the 1958 Beech 18!  Wish I could make the event but I’m packing for Vegas tomorrow to check out a plane for sale.  I’m in the market for an IFR trainer that’s good for cross country.  Top on the wish list is a Grumman Tiger or Socata Rallye 235 if anyone happens to know of one.

Still looking for a monitor?  Might have sourced a 22″-23″ from a friend.

I happen to have an Acer X203H with a couple others.  Is the system capable of running multiple screens?

    I think I have a 20″ LCD if that’s big enough.

I haven’t tried Condor yet but I own the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.  I haven’t checked if 55L is in there yet. There’s a very active MS Flight Simulator Gliders group on Facebook.  Anyone try MS Flight Simulator with Gliders yet? https://www.facebook.com/groups/1803376689823050/?ref=share

But it sounds like that is the wrong decision according to Mark’s DPE.  Sounds like overflying a staged glider is a no-no.  If landing 27 there are fewer obstacles and people left of the runway so I think the DPE would have preferred a slight jog left then once past the staged glider, realign to 27 and land.  If I’m not understanding that, please let me know.

I like John’s idea.  If we can make a tow setup for the tractor or lawnmower it’d be a great to add some redundancy.  A tow dolly to get the Accord to where it needs to be fixed is $45/day.  I can tow it with my wagon.  But not knowing where exactly is the leak I can’t say how involved or expensive the repair.  I also have a lift so I could tackle it but I’m not the fastest mechanic.  Or if Art’s willing to work on it if we get it to his shop, I can tow it there.

Is there part of the fuel line that is good?  They make kits to splice in and replace just the bad sections instead of pre-bent OEM lines.  Probably under $100.  Then again, I wonder if a used lawn tractor would be fast and capable enough to tow.  Would take up less space in the hanger too.

We’ll need to figure out where the leak is to figure out the repair I’ll plan to go out Saturday.

What make and model is the mule?  Is it nylon line?  I have a tool to splice and replace connectors.  Can be out Saturday.
