Larry KaseParticipantA blizzard is on the way for Sunday, but the SSI fleet is all tucked in to our comfortable hangar. 7 hard-core members showed up to put away the Krosno along with Pumpkin. The PW5 was trailered to Marengo.

Larry KaseParticipantCloudy day netted 30 winch launches. 5 instructors flew with members. Ponsot, Art and Kees provided the horsepower.
We were getting about 7 tows/hr.
Nickolae/ Palumbo got an early release at 500 ft. They executed their planned emergency procedures without error and returned for a routine landing.

Larry KaseParticipantNo flights today. The C182 nose tire is repaired. The tube had a hole in it.
I was able to issue 2 student pilot licenses to members.
Watch the weather for weekday ops.

Larry KaseParticipantOn Sunday we had only 4 flights as I was the only towpilot. We helped load the water tank on the guy’s truck.

We stopped towing to adjust the throttle . Larry & Gary went to work on the tow plane while other members pulled out the winch. We got in about a dozen launches and then the tow plane was returned to service. Thanks to Andy and Kirda for helping with repairs.
Sunday ops start at 10 am.
