KeymasterSunday was a good and challenging soaring day. We had a total of 26 flights with several pilots staying up over an hour and reaching altitudes over 6000 feet with climbs reported over 6 knots. Windsheer at about 100 feet agl on the east end of the field kept tow pilots and glider pilots using all their skills and training as they transitioned through that turbulent area. With winds out of the north, most tows were released north of the field. The ballons guys came out and launched at about 6:45. A very nice day.

KeymasterThere wasn’t much of a response of
interest. I will be out there later this morning and if enough
people show up, I can tow.?? Saturday weather is showing rain.
Sunday should be a good day for training and local flights.Don

KeymasterGary, I should be able to be out
there to help with the oil change. Also, I will be going out
tomorrow (Wednesday) to?? put new wheel bearings in the nose
wheel of the towplane. I will need at least one able body to
help get the nose wheel off the ground so it can be removed and
replaced. Otherwise, I will have to plan on another day.Don

KeymasterJohn. What are settings you use for vMeye to connect to the webcam. Specially the mobile port and the dvr user ID? I’m having trouble connecting.

KeymasterThank you Dick Bell, John Phelan and Andy. I will look for the manuals in the office. Thank you Andy for sending me the parts manual. I believe this is what we need so, I will do some online shopping. Next step is to get the BOD to approve the purchase of the parts. 🙂
