Barry, I think you put the link in the Tags box. It should be in the message body.

Here is the link Barry wanted to share with everyone.

On another interesting topic. Has anybody seen the PBS documentary called “Escape from Nazi Alcatraz” of the glider that was built in an attic during WWII which was going to be used by POW’s to escape captivity?

Denny, sorry I forgot to look at the fuel log however, I think we are getting down to around 300 gallons however, we will double check this weekend and get the current number to you.  Don

Today is Thursday and we are flying.
We have a tow pilot and instructor available. It will be sunny
with a high of 70 degrees. Winds will be out of the west at
about 10.  Not a stellar day for thermals but their may be some
workable lift later in the afternoon.  Hope to see you at the
    gliderport!

Looks like Thursday flying is canceled since we had no response. See you all Saturday

Alan, I will plan on being at the
field around 10am to tow or instruct.  The wet fields from the
weekend rain should dry out if we get no more rain. Sky Sights
long range forecast is saying lift between 4-5000 feet later in
the afternoon Thursday around 1400 hours however, high clouds
may dampen that some.  No matter the soaring forecast, it will
be a good day for training.

I’ll be out later, maybe early
afternoon 1-2pm. I’m waiting for UPS to deliver some parts I
    ordered from Aircraft Spruce.

Any more people coming out? I am an afternoon arrival – 1pm or later, but
probably would probably not drive out from the city unless it is clear we
can get a winch op going.
