I would like to arrange some lessons on Thursday this week if possible.  The weather should be good. Is it possible to make that happen if we can get CFI, tow plane pilot and wing runner on board?  I am a new member and soloed in January at Estrella sailport in AZ in the old Schweizer.  Thanks,  Alan

Alan, I will plan on being at the
field around 10am to tow or instruct.  The wet fields from the
weekend rain should dry out if we get no more rain. Sky Sights
long range forecast is saying lift between 4-5000 feet later in
the afternoon Thursday around 1400 hours however, high clouds
may dampen that some.  No matter the soaring forecast, it will
be a good day for training.

              Don,

Perfect… I can make it there by 10 depending on traffic, as I will be
              driving from Lincoln Park.

              Alan

Looks like Thursday flying is canceled since we had no response. See you all Saturday

I never saw any postings from members being interested to fly on Thursday. I would come out.

I had asked originally about doing some lessons on Thursday. Don said he
could make it, so if some others want to join in, I would drive out
                                tomorrow.

Today is Thursday and we are flying.
We have a tow pilot and instructor available. It will be sunny
with a high of 70 degrees. Winds will be out of the west at
about 10.  Not a stellar day for thermals but their may be some
workable lift later in the afternoon.  Hope to see you at the
                              gliderport!

                                  Don,

Thanks again for the lessons today. Was lots of fun to try to knock the
                                  rust off.

Denny, sorry I forgot to look at the fuel log however, I think we are getting down to around 300 gallons however, we will double check this weekend and get the current number to you.  Don

At end of Thurs Ops, can one of you gents give me a remaining Fuel Tank gal amount?

You can text me at:  1-847-636-9007

The new fuel service vendor is almost approving SSI, & we don’t want to go less than 150gal remaining.

                                    Appreciated, DB
