Anyone planning on representing Sky Soaring and bringing your famous chili? I know we have some great chili cooks in the club.   I hope to attend and will vote for your chili as the best.  Please don’t tell anyone I said that…

You guys will need someone to tow you up! Any lift will start around 1:30 pm according to SkySight. If you ask nice I’ll be there at noon. 😁

That’s the Krozno. The picture with the glider trailers parked on the west end of the field. It’s been at least three years since we moved them to midfield I believe.

The tow would have been to 3900 feet.

Congratulations to Petr who passed his private pilot check ride yesterday with Ron Ridenour.  We now have two new rated pilots at the club.

Thanks for the West Coast update Logan, it sounds like that will be a fun place to fly out of.  Do They fly all year long there?

Looks like Friday will be the better of the days. Winds out of the NE, 10-15 with cooler temps. Lets plan on about 11 am. Will need a tow pilot and ground crew.

Weather permitting, Saturday we have two Private Pilot flight exams scheduled, with Eric starting at 10am and Petr at 2pm with examiner Ron Ridenour. We will need a crew on Saturday to help get them airborne after their orals. I am available and will be out all day long, can tow or whatever.

Alan, I’m not available today (Monday) but lets try for an operation later in the week. Maybe when Mark gets back, Wed, Thurs, or Fri.
