(I needed a break from family med problems)…..i learned to fly in ’86 in the L-13 ( and 2-33’s, 2-32) that Ron R. had at his W.C.S. at 1C5…..I really enjoyed the L-13. They trained us in correct flap usage, I was ok with it. It seems that the fiberglass duals are ~100, to 140 lbs heavier than older aluminum gliders. The ask21 heavy, Pw-6 heavy….and probably too expensive anyway. A hot day in >800 lb craft might be difficult for the c182.

Be careful today, the Density Altitude on Saturday (@92deg) was very high! Today not any better!

I found the good tent stakes in the old tubular canopy black bag, near the balloon baskets.

The stakes were placed on top of the box for the fold-out blue canopy (near soda vending).

Happy to hear strut could be re-charged, and a nice soaring adventure returned, & I didn’t ruin it.

The towplane front strut is out-of-service,(Sat afternoon ops), deflated (sorry!).  We did not know how to precisely service it.

I briefed Gary Palumbo today, on that condition.

That main line clog is probably it. Sounds like fuel valves are independent
from the Carb system, so carb/float/jet assembly is ok??
PS: I also noticed after I mowed Fri w/ hustler, the 0-turn belt drive
guards must be opened and clean that upper deck mechanical area. There was
all sorts of debris, dirt, mud, weeds etc., stuck there, waiting to mess up
    the belts/pulleys.
What i did not know how to do was effective “clear” of the blade deck
underside. The blades might be choked with debris, too.
