John DeRosaParticipantThanks for the ideas. I have heard about this being an RV-4 (single place) rear canopy several times.
However, there are a few things that just don’t match up.
– The front edge of the RV-4 canopy appears to be perpendicular to the bottom rail.– The top front edge of the RV-4 canopy slopes downward from a bubble area above the pilot’s head.– The RV-4 canopy does not appear to have a window opening.The “attic” canopy does not mirror these items.John H DeRosaOn Monday, December 7, 2020, 11:35:26 AM CST, Sky Soaring <webmaster@skysoaring.com> wrote:

Some additional clues;
– The window does have additional holes for a sliding Mecaplex-type window.
– The bottom of the canopy is not flat. Towards the “aft” (I think) end of the canopy the bottom edge tilts upward. But the bottom edge of this portion is flat and does not have the curve of a leading edge.
Any more ideas? Hate to throw this nice canopy out.
John DeRosaParticipantTim,Thanks for taking this on and making it happen.Out of curiosity, how difficult was getting the grip off the stick to get to the PTT switch.
Thanks again.John H DeRosa(OHM Ω)“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”– Albert EinsteinOn Thursday, December 3, 2020, 8:50:33 PM CST, Sky Soaring <webmaster@skysoaring.com> wrote:

John DeRosaParticipantJohn,
I was always under the assumption that Google (and Apple?) would have kept a log of past GPS tracks. Thus you could use FindMe to determine where your phone was when it went dark. After some research I guess this is not the case.Try this – Google “Timelines” which shows were you have been if this function was turned on (probably so but some turns this off for privacy). In my case this info goes back to 2014 and clicking on the last bar in the graph shows me where I am today. See the attached image. Now everyone knows where I am! https://www.google.com/maps/timeline.Best of luck.John H DeRosa=======================================On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, 11:10:56 AM CST, Sky Soaring <webmaster@skysoaring.com> wrote:

Did you try using the “FindMe” functions of Apple or Android? It will show the last known GPS fix. I’ve had to do that several times!
