Steven Snyder224-628-2871Steven SnyderParticipantThank you. Great collection.
Steven Snyder224-628-2871Steven SnyderParticipantA brisk and busy afternoon. 9 flights including 2 premature release exercises. Thanks to John for towing for us. Well done everyone.
Steven SnyderParticipantI see John at 1:30 and Andy coming out. Let’s do this.
Steve
Steven SnyderParticipantHave a student at 12. Any tow pilot available?
Steven Snyder224-628-2871Steven SnyderParticipantI’m planning on coming out today. Anyone else interested?
Steven SnyderParticipantToday turned out to be a very productive day. No flying (except Andy got in a flight) but Pumpkin and Lark are now disassembled and stored in the hanger. Thanks to a handful of volunteers the work went slowly but smoothly.
Steven SnyderParticipantAny interest in Wednesday the 21st? Looking like a halfway decent day.
Steven SnyderParticipantAll;These are all good points. Let’s go back to the original idea. As a result of the recommendations after the safety survey we agreed that we need more space for a glider to pull off of the active runway. This entails cutting into the alfalfa field by about 75 feet. The first step is to get an estimate for the work. If that is done the excess soil can be spread on the runway to fill the low spots.
