Great!! That should have the info that we need to order the correct parts.  If anyone is out at the hanger this week could you look for the manual and make note of the model and serial number and post it here.

Tuesday April 9.  Cold front passing through today will bring unstable air which translates to possible good lift.  Anyone up for flying today?

I’ll be out over the weekend. I
still want to try and get the field rolled if it’s not to wet.

Skysight forecast is looking pretty good for Tuesday (9th) ops
however the stronger winds at the boundry layer top may be a
factor in thermals (may blow them apart) and some cirrus moving in
later in the afternoon. I’ll keep watching the forecast and will
keep you updated.  I’m hoping to assemble and do my first flight
of the year in the LAK17A as long as I get my parachute back from
    the rigger.

Please join me in welcoming our new member, Dan Pyne.  Dan has logged two winch launches and is excited to continue his flight training for his ultimate goal of becoming a licensed Private Pilot in gliders.  Dan lives in the city of Chicago so, it may work out that the club members living in the city may be able to ride share.  You can contact Dan through his online profile.

Were you guys able to find an instructor or tow pilot to come out?  Am curious as how the lift was? Skysight said you should have had lift to around 5000.

Thank you all. It’s true, I did get my CFIG.  If you can believe it, I had a 6 1/2 hour oral and 25 minutes of flying . The oral was brutal.

Left Arizona today. Heading to Florida for the seniors contest.  Not flying but helping with ground crew.
