Ratnavel,You are absolutely correct! It seems my sense of the weather was lacking. Looks like another miss for flying today. I don’t think it will dry up early enough for me to make this work. The weekend still looks good, so I will officially cancel for today and hope to see you all on Saturday morning. Mike
Hi Art, I’m across the pond right now but hope to be able to make it on Saturday to fly/run/tow/whatever. I’ll know more when we get out tomorrow but it’s a tight schedule and our operation this summer at my airline is stressed. Mike

Thanks for the early decision Gary. I agree that the forecast looks grim for effective training or fun flying. I am cancelling for today as well. Mike
I will be out around to 9 to prepare the Pawnee to tow, and it sounds like Gary will be out there at around 10 which hopefully means we have an instructor. I am only able to be there until noon or a bit after, but it sounds like the weather won’t allow much beyond that in any case. Hopefully some motivated pilots are out to get some birds ready to go so we don’t spend the morning unpacking instead of flying! Mike
Rich, I am starting at 9, while there won’t be towing right away, I suppose anytime people can start pulling gliders out assuming the weather is conducive to doing some training or flying. Mike
I am going to be at the field doing my check out in the Pawnee. I will be there to fly, and or help with wing running, flight log, or towing gliders depending on need. Trigg will likely also show up to help and fly. Mike
I will be out with Trigg and maybe Brynn on Saturday if weather is ok, around 1130 due to conflicts. Sunday is a go if weather cooperates. We are now out of school and weekdays are more easily done.Also, I am available to begin learning to tow anytime. Nick, I promise you get first crack anytime you are around, I’ll fill in as needed. Sent from my iPadDon, perhaps my reply to this thread and Rich’s comments in particular were not submitted correctly, but I cannot find my response from 2/21. In any case, I would like to know which 1-26 is for sale, do you have the N number? Is it currently in the hangar to view, and is the trailer one I can identify to look over? How can I learn what mods were done that make it better? It seems that if it is listed for sale in April there will be much more information about it than is available at the moment, which I understand is part of why it is less expensive if the work of posting it is not required, but info is pretty thin at this point.
I would put in one final plug for the fact that off the top of my head we have me, Trigg, Brynn, DJ, and Lauren at a minimum looking for solos all summer. Looking forward to learning more and coming down to take a look, Mike
Is there a time that you are looking at? Not sure of our schedule yet, but its hard to know until there is an approximate time frame. Thanks! Mike
