We have some volunteers for Wednesday morning around 9am to work on the field. It shouldn’t take very long and maybe if we have time and the wind is right, we can burn the burnpile.
DonBob Rivas ( new associate member), I am available and interested in helping out with the field maintenance. Is Wednesday a.m. good?

Another field maintenance item is that the runway threshold markers need to be sprayed with Roundup. We have the Roundup but need a sprayer as ours is not working. If someone that owns a sprayer could bring it in and spray the markers that would be greatly appreciated.

Nick, their should be some instructors out on Sunday. Check the metars and TAFs as mentioned in the above message before coming out. Be sure to bring your logbook. Some members should be out there by 10am getting things ready.
DonRich, forecast winds for Saturday are showing out of the north 10-15 with gusts to 20kts so, xwind is a factor. Recommend early morning flights when the wind will be less before the afternoon gusts pick up. Sunday is looking better as winds will be lighter out of the ESE. As always, check the metars and TAFS prior to flying as weather can change. I like reading the Aviation Forecast Discussion
to get an idea of what weather we can expect in the near future.I’ll be out on Saturday working on some projects.
