Time to knock off the winter rust and review our Policy and Procedures manual as well as the Glider Flying Handbook. As per our P&P manual, you will be required to fly a minimum of two flights with one of our club CFI-G’s. A review of the maneuvers you will be required to satisfactorily demonstrate can be found in the Glider Flying Handbook.
As per FAR’s rated pilots will need at least 3 flights in the past 90 days to fly passengers.
Over the winter, the board has made some changes to the fees that members will pay for dues and tow fees. See the Club Membership page on our website for current fees. Remember that you will need to pay your 1st and 2nd quarter dues in order to start flying in April. Jim Hopkins has made Zelle payments available to make it easier to pay those fees. Daily Flight fees will also be available to pay by Zelle as long as a pay envelope is filled out with a note that Zelle was the pay method.
Saturdays continue to be work days. Please come out and volunteer your time. I’m sure with all the warm weather the grass is ready to mow.
