27 August looks like a nice day. Not much lift but great for training. Light winds, few clouds.

28 August ok but not great. May be flyable early. Chance of rain.

          Hello:

I signed up via Book Our Plane for Saturday morning.  No other reservations were seen.

The forecast looks good for Saturday while Sunday looks marginal (as Steve has mentioned).

Saturday: Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph in the morning.

Sunday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

          See you tomorrow!

          Regards,

          Rich

Saturday recap. It was an exciting day! The highlight was a FIRST SOLO by Wil! Congratulations and best wishes on achieving your next goals.

A total of 16 flights today. Thanks to Gary for doing all of the tows. Mixed in there were flights for our newest member Armando, Kevin getting checked out in the 2-33 after solos in the Krosno. Andy earing his C badge, and Animesh treating his sister to 2 flights. His first passenger since earning his Private rating.

Thanks to everyone that pitched in, ran wings, kept the times, mowed and who knows what else. What a great family we have here.

                  Steve

Now, as for Sunday. Weather shows a chance for showers but if there is interest let us know and we well attempt to have an operation. Rockford TAF is FM281300 18010KT P6SM BKN060. What’s it say?

30 percent of showers equals 70 percent of no showers. So speak up. It should be worth the effort.
