Hello Sky Soaring Members,
You may have noticed in John DeRosa’s president message that a new feature was coming to our website called Safety Reporting. That feature has now been implemented on the website. You will see a new menu item called “Submit Safety Report.” The safety report is designed for members to report safety related items to the Safety Officer. The report will be anonymous, meaning their is no name associated with the report. Optionally, you can leave your name for a follow-up from the Safety Officer. For 2021, our Safety Officer is Gary Palumbo and he will be the one that receives the reports. Gary may report it to the BOD if action needs to be taken in order to improve safety.
Let’s make 2021 the safest year ever.
