        Gentleman,

The weather gods were smiling on us yesterday. Instead of mostly cloudy and breezy it was sunny, no breeze and fairly warm. A great crew arrived and ALL of the Sky Soaring fleet were derigged and put in either the west hangar or east. I wish to thank all that attended. The ones I remember are Andy Chicewicz, Mark Reich, Mr. Malkowski and his son Mikolaj, DJ Spencer and his dad, Dave Winters, Greg Tomczyk, John Scott, Art Silverman, Don Grillo, John DeRosa, John Phelan, Michael Palmer, Jim Hopkins and Greg Palmer. We all chipped in for pizza around 1:00 and whoever brought the beer, thanks. Greg Palmer arrive a bit late but also brought liquid refreshments. DJ’s dad took a photo of the group and hopefully it will be posted. If I missed your name I apologize, the fault is entirely my own, I do appreciate your help. And finally, as John DeRosa stated, we won’t be worried now about a final derigging on a cloudy (possibly misty) cold and windy day. Thank goodness for that!!!

        Sincerely, John Lincoln, Maintenance

PS, Both Mikolaj and DJ got sign-off’s for derigging in their log books. A requirement on their way to a private license. Good work there fellows.

Hello everyone. I sincerely apologize and regret not being able to participate in yesterday’s event and assist with disassemble our ships, especially after watching Andy’s YouTube video. I’m glad to hear that all the gliders are under roof. Since Tuesday, I’ve been in New Mexico for hunting. Yesterday marked the official start of a five-day hunting season here, and so far, things are looking good. I spotted two female elks yesterday and this morning, I saw twelve deers, including two bucks. They were quite far away, from me, almost 1km, and moving away from me, so there was no chance of hunting them down. It’s been 68F during the day and 33F at night here. I hope tomorrow will be better, and I’ll finally take my first shot. Greetings to everyone, see you later. Petr

              Andy,

Thanks for the video. That was a nice surprise as I didn’t know anyone was filming for us. And thanks to whom ever did the filming. John Lincoln
