<div>Synopsis: All About Thermal Generation – This presentation will be about the processes that generate the most important lift source for gliders: Thermals. We will go through the capture of the sun’s energy and how it is converted into the buoyant warm air that carries gliders up to the condensation level. We also talk about ground features that promote the creation and trigger the ascent of thermals.</div>
