From my perspective today was a 5 star day. CFI Steve (also rated at 5 stars) took 3 flights with me and showed me that the often talked about thermals actually exist. We got up to 4000 feet off of a 2000 foot tow. Thanks to Don for towing and for the wing running by Mark and Paul’s dad. It was a hot but nice day at the field. Thanks to the others that were also out there assisting with the golf cart retrieves and for buying the soda, burgers and sandwiches.
In other news, I refilled the first aid kit and added some extra items that can be useful. It is back on the shelf in the rear of the hangar.
The offer for free basic first aid and CPR/AED training is still open.
