Steven SnyderParticipant
Still looking for candidates to fly Sunday.
Steven SnyderParticipantWell, Saturday was a decent day. There were a few flights. 5 of them were sightseeing flights. And, no there were no members waiting to use the gliders at that time. There was some mowing going on, thanks Jim. Oh, and there was a checkride. Congratulations to our newest commercial glider pilot, Austen. Be sure to ask him all about it. I’m sure it will make the 10 pm news.
Steven SnyderParticipantWell, Tuesday turned out to be decent after all. 14 flights total and guess who was the tow pilot for 6 of them. Now the first 8 were by John S. And then, fresh off of his new endorsement, your very own Eric became our newest tow pilot! Congratulations and thank you for stepping up.
Steven SnyderParticipantKarl, and all; several years ago I had a CAP Blanik at the field. We brought in a 172 to do a ferry flight and with a light tailwind I was certain we would not have cleared the ditch. Maybe 50 agl and I released. Just barely stopped in time. Turned around and launched into the wind with room to spare.
Steven SnyderParticipantFound.Thanks
Steven SnyderParticipantNot a bad day all considered. 12 flights total with Andy leading the way.
Steven SnyderParticipantI should be there.
Steven SnyderParticipantWell, another nice day at the OK Corral. A total of 12 winch flights today. Congrats to Fred for soloing off of the winch. Also a potential new member had 2 flights. Thanks go to Tim for running the winch and bringing the ropes back as well.
Steven SnyderParticipantI am interested.
Steven SnyderParticipantTuesday was a nice albeit windy day. Total of 9 flights with Austen fine tuning his crosswind landings and hovering in place over a ground reference maneuvering.
Steven SnyderParticipantBeautiful! Shot with a drone?
