FYI, the carb heat on the towplane has been repaired and is signed off in the ac logbook by Larry. It is flyable.

Today looks like a rain unfortunately, tomorrow (Sunday) is looking good. Partly cloudy with winds out of the northwest.  We have some FAST and scenic rides to give if we can get a tow pilot out early around 10.

The towplane is ready for pick up at Poplar Grove Airport. It has a new carburetor on it and according to Poplar Grove it is running smooth. Looking for a tow pilot available on Thursday morning and also a driver to take the tow pilot out to Poplargrove. I would do it but I am going to be in the city tomorrow morning and not available till later in the afternoon.

Since you asked; The none runway portion of the field could be rolled by someone that is checked out on the Ford tractor. The runway could be mowed. The white golf cart batteries need to be checked.

The PW-5 wings could be waxed.

John, the engine will require 2 hours of break in. I will do that when I pick it up at poplar grove later in the month. In the mean time if you would like to come out to the field on Saturdays, we have work that needs to be done.
