WINGS credit for WingRunner and Tow Pilot Course

Hello Sky Soaring members,
Wings credit can now be awarded for taking the yearly mandatory WingRunner course and also the Tow Pilot Course. Send me a copy of your completion certificate/s. Remember that these course are required prior to you flying at Sky Soaring. You must request the credit through WINGS, faasafety.gov.

WINGS Credit;
You can now get WINGS credit for completing the SSF (Soaring Safety Foundation) Wing Runner and Tow Pilot Courses.
Go to http://www.soaringsafety.org to take the course/s or follow the links above.
Complete the course/s and email a copy of your completion certificate to dongrillo@aol.com

Follow these directions to request WINGS credit.

1. Login to http://www.faasafety.gov
2. Click on Activities
3. In the “Search” box, enter “wingrunner” and click on “Perform Search”
4. On the Results page (scroll down) click on “G-Wing Runner Course”
5. On the Accredited Activity Information page, click on “Request Credit”
6. Complete the Date box
7. Click on the “Email” tab
8. In the Email Box type dongrillo@aol.com and click “Select”
9. Click on Don Grillo
10. On the next page click on “Submit for Validation”
11. The request will be sent to me on which I will validate your WINGS credit.

The Tow Pilot course is the same as above. In the activities search box type

“SSF-Tow-Pilot-Grnd”
