Wx permitting I could come out and instruct starting about 1PM into the “dusk patrol” timeframe.
I say wx permitting because there is forecast to be a 15 knot breeze out of the Northeast.
This means that in all likelihood we will be taking off and landing from Runway 9, which is a pattern not all of us have recent experience in flying.
So if wind stays within safe limits, we find a tow pilot, and enough of you are interested in a refresher on these procedures, we can set something up.
Just an FYI. I’m no stranger to landing on runway 9. Did it on Monday and have done it several time each year. Also 15 kts of breeze is very near the top limit of what the club says is acceptable. If an operation is run remember the briefing, and GSO are required. John Lincoln
If I don’t hear a yea or nay from anyone by noon I’m going to head into the lab and throw a reaction on. Making some radiolabelled strychnine and two chemotherapy drugs today. No free samples 🙂
Cheers
