      Now for this week. Monday looks decent so if you want to fly speak up now. Tuesday I will take the day off. Wednesday through Friday look like nice days at this time. We need good weather on Friday so if you need rain on your lawn request it earlier in the week.

      Saturday I may have a 1/2 day and Sunday I cannot be here.

      Hi,

      As some of you know my check-ride is on Friday and is confirmed. This is my official request a tow pilot for Friday and maybe a Wing runner. Also on Wednesday I would like to take a couple more training flights if we manage to have an operation.

      I’m scheduled for my checkride Friday afternoon, just after Lawrence. I’d like to get a few more flights in Wednesday and Thursday if we can get an operation going.

      With luck, we’ll have 2 more certificates minted by the weekend!

      Today was a nice day. A bit cold but we had 9 flights total. Thanks to Mark and John for towing. Led by Greg with 27 min and Mark with 26 min. Rich completed his Sport Pilot add-on rating.

      Tomorrow looks nice as well. SkySight predicts lift to 4,500 msl. Who wants to fly? We have a tow pilot.

      This will be the last weekend of flight operations (weather
      permitting) as the tow plane will be flown over to Poplar Grove on
      Thursday the 11th possibly sooner, as rain is in the forecast
      later in the week, to start the engine overhaul.

      If winds prevent flying this weekend, may I suggest that we start
      with disassembly of the gliders since we will have warmer
      temperatures to work in. The PW-5 could be put back in the trailer
      and moved to the east hangar. The 2-33 and Krosno require many
      hands as the wings are heavy.

      Just a thought.
