I want to say Thank You to all of you that honored me with the inaugural presentation of the Jim Skog Award for most valuable member in 2021. This was certainly not something I would have expected, considering the way the season started. Most importantly, it is not an award that can be earned singlehandedly. Just as Jim would be out at the field almost every day he could not accomplish all that he did without a team. I have to give credit to all of the members that participate, in particular the tow pilots that give us all the chance to enjoy this sport and to the students that with their trust and commitment to learning make this the best job I could ask for.

Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
