Numerous soarers showed up to work and play at our club today. Our talented members were able to assemble the 1-26 and attach the Krosno elevators to the stabilizer. Many thanks to those members that worked all day but did not fly. That’s what makes our club work.
We started up the winch and got in 17 flights with Stars & Stripes and Pumpkin. Logan Thomas became the first student pilot to solo on the winch at SSI with 3 solos. Don Grillo tried out his new CFIG on the winch. Silverman brought out new member Dan Pyne. He got in 2 flights and promised to bring out some home brew.
A good start for Spring flying.
