Hello everyone. After a successful weekend, during which we could enjoy not only the beautiful weather but also problem-free flying, I’m looking forward to the upcoming weekend ahead of us. Following the regular meeting and subsequent safety briefing, I want us to focus on completing the installation of anchors for our gliders. A machine (BobCat) with a drill will be available, and I hope that this time with “heavy machinery” it will go much faster and smoother. The more tie-down we drill, the more gliders we’ll be able to assemble, and consequently, more gliders will be available for flying. Yes, it’s that simple! Of course, it depends on the weather and how quickly we progress. The drilling machine will be available until everything is done.
P.S. As before every meeting, breakfast at Alan’s corner is almost a tradition now. I have it arranged that I can call them 20 minutes before our arrival (mostly around 8 in the morning) and they will set up two tables connected for us to sit together. I’d like to know, preferably by Thursday evening, how many of us there will likely be.
