Many thanks to John Phelan and Geoff Weck helping me install a new Open Glider Network (OGN) receiver at the Beloit Airport (44C).  This coupled with the existing OGN receiver at Sky Soaring (55LL) extends our range considerably to the northwest.

There is also a new OGN receiver install this year at Illinois Valley Airport in Peru IL (KVYS) by the team at Windy City Soaring plus their exist receiver at Hinkley Airport (OC2) and an exist receiver at Chicago Glider Club (IL59).  These extend the OGN range considerably to the south.

To learn more about OGN see http://wiki.glidernet.org/.

To see the area of coverage, and look for gliders in the air with an OGN transmitter (or FLARM) go to https://glidertracker.org/#lat=42.109&lon=-88.527&z=10&id=55LL

      Thanks again,

      John (OHM)
