      Holiday Dinner – Hawthorn Woods Country Club.

      The HWCC Events Manager got back to me. Sundays in December are completely booked. I have put Saturday, December 2nd on hold for Sky Soaring. It is the only weekend date left. This is the same location that Dale hosted the dinner pre-Covid.

      If we can get a minimum of 35-40 guests to commit, I can make a go of it. Do we have enough interested members? We can do a similar setup as the last couple of dinners. I think we had a cash bar and buffet layout. If we get enough interest, I can then confirm the date with Hawthorn Woods Country Club. If the holiday dinner is a go, I will need to put down a $500 deposit. The next step after that will be to pick the menu items for the buffet and come up with how much to charge per person.

      Jeff, thanks for doing that. I’ve only been to one Sky Soaring holiday dinner and it was at the Hawthorn country club. Put me and my guest down for attending. Hopefully we can get enough interest to start this tradition back up again.
