Is the glider that Charlie Gries donated to the Club out at the field and does it still have the vinyl graphics with the bubble issue?

      Best Regards,

      John P.,

As far as I know it still has the bubble issue. Do you have a solution?

I do.  I’ll see if I can make it out tomorrow afternoon and take a look.  Is it flyable or will it be available for member use during the day?

      Best Regards,

      John F. Phelan

Now for Saturday. Storms in the morning, hot in the afternoon. Let me know if you want to fly and we shall see. Plus there is mowing to be done.

Sorry I’m not around. I’m at OSH with our 195 and a Beech 18. Sick with the kung flu for the last 10 days

I should be there around 12:30 to see if I can fix the bubbled vinyl on the Gries glider.  Can also mow or fix whatever else is busted.

Another windy day. 7 flights were launched including new members Griffin Kelly and Jerry Kawecki as well as Rich taking a guest up for a couple of flights. Then the crosswinds became too much and we shut down for the day. Thanks to Mark for towing. John Phelan also came out to look at and work on the wrap on the 1-26C. Thanks, John

Looks like John DeRosa was heading to OSH with his glider in tow.

      Steve
