      There is a Fly-In, Drive-In at Poplar Grove airport today. Lots of activities including rides in a Twin Beech piloted by Sky Soaring member JimBob Slocum.  I’ll be heading over there this morning on the mc. I didn’t see any conversation about soaring today but if you need a tow pilot, text me and I can be there this afternoon sometime.

      I enjoyed the flyby of the 1958 Beech 18!  Wish I could make the event but I’m packing for Vegas tomorrow to check out a plane for sale.  I’m in the market for an IFR trainer that’s good for cross country.  Top on the wish list is a Grumman Tiger or Socata Rallye 235 if anyone happens to know of one.
