Many members will know of our friend Buzz Getzelman. He passed away suddenly last week. Buzz lives just a few miles south of Sky Soaring on a farm that has been in the family since 1868.
On his farm he had a hangar, a 172 (co-owner Steve Wasilowski) and a turf runway (7IL7). He was a talented aircraft restorer and over the years he has done many projects for our club. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him as I did.
