Culvert Construction has Begun

I noticed today two new telephone poles have sprouted along Rt 20 at our doorstep.  This represents the beginning of the Sky Soaring personal construction season.  As you may remember the culvert under Rt 20 is being replaced.  Hard telling how long this is going to take.   If you see any ongoing work PLEASE give me a call at 224-848-2063 so that I can stop by and talk with the workers.

 

Note that during the work period the traffic on Rt 20 will be 1-way-only controlled by an automated stop light system.  Also our main driveway will be closed and temporarily replaced with an alternate path.

 

More news later as it develops.

The fuel truck is coming, late Thurs 5-23
Is the original SSI entrance still usable?
If not, do you think the Avalon fuel truck weight could be accepted by the
alternate temp path?

Nothing has changed at the entrance at this time.   
I suspect the temporary driveway will suffice for the fuel truck.
