I have turned on a feature of our Sky soaring message forum that
should allow you to insert/attach a picture or pdf file to a newly
created topic. To do this, go to our message forum (must be logged
in), In the General Discussion forum, scroll down to the bottom
where you normally type in your message. Click on the small
“envelope” icon in the yellow box (shown below). This will open
your email client (Thunderbird, MS Exchange etc) and populate the
“To” address with a unique email address only associated with
you. Type your email just as you would any other and insert or
attach your image or pdf file. Send your email. It will go out to
all subscribers.
Filesize limits are 300K per file.
Max Limit of all files is 2mb.
NOTE: This may not work if you only use an online email
service like gmail.com where you have to log into your email
account. In that case, you could copy and paste the unique email
address into your “To” box when composing an email.
TIP: That unique email
address is only associated with you. If you save that address in
your Contacts, use it anytime you want to compose a new
Topic in our General Discussion Forum. (Not to be used
to reply to a topic.)
