Thank you Barry for posting this vintage video! I was born about 10 miles from that airfield which was used by the military during WWII. After that it was extensively used as a glider port with winch launches only. It is NOT part of the Tyrolean Alps as mentioned in the video at all rather it is located in the province of STYRIA or Steiermark where Arnold Schwarzenegger comes from. The colossal mountain that you see is called Grimming and is the tallest free standing mountain in Europe with a vertical rise of 5,600 ft. Not really aviation related but may be of interest to some members.
