      Hi,

Yesterday and today, there were a couple of comments on the Sky Soaring forum about tow hook  maintenance. Larry pointed out that it’s club policy to notify the Maintenance chairman of maintenance issues. And that this forum is not the proper place to report things to the Maintenance chair.

Of course, that’s absolutely true. But I was wondering where a member should have learned that policy. A lot of people, over the years, have put a lot of work into maintaining the official club Policies and Procedures manual. I thought, surely, it’s in that document. I looked and it’s not. So, since I’m one of the people who have helped maintain that document, I’ll add it.

But I also wanted to remind members, new and experienced, that the Policies and Procedures manual is the club’s bible and should be carefully reviewed by all.  There is a lot of great safety information and well as ways to assure your success at Sky Soaring. It can be found on the club website here:

      Best wishes,

      Mike
