Hello:
I looked at the weather:
Friday: Showers likely, mainly before 1 pm. Cloudy, with a high near 64. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 pm. High near 74. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 76.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 75
It looks like Sunday and Monday are the best flying days. Does anyone want to set up some training flights? I want to brush up a bit for my proficiency check. Also, will the winch be coming out sometime soon? Not being pushy, but the end of the season is approaching…
Regards,
Rich

Rich, it looks like your forecast is
holding up. Saturday will be a wash as low level clouds and rain
move through the area. Forecasts for Sunday show the rain moving
out however, with all the moisture we’ve had over the past week,
MVFR and maybe IFR conditions are possible for Sunday. We’ll
have to wait and see what Sunday brings. There may be a window
in the afternoon for some training flights if we can get some
CFIG’s out.https://www.aviationweather.gov/fcstdisc

Hello Don:
I am taking advantage of the rainy weather to review the FAA Glider Flying Manual and the FAR/AIM. I took Monday off so there may be an opportunity for practice flights if we can get a crew together. Fog is likely Sunday and Monday morning.
Sunday: A 10 percent chance of showers before 7 am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 74. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Monday: Patchy fog before 9 am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Light north northeast wind becoming east northeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Happy Saturday.

Rich

I will also be out today. I have booked the Krosno for on hour because I need a flight review. I hope an instructor and tow pilot can come out today.

Sunday looks like a nice day to practice your aerotows, airborne maneuvers and accuracy landings. We’ll call it a AAA day 😁

Hello:
I just booked Stars and Stripes. Solo or dual, either way I will get some practice in.
