Mile High Glider Ride
Fly with a FAA certified commercial pilot. You will be towed to 5280 feet (1 Mile) above ground level (6200 MSL) or to cloud base if lower. Your flight will last approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on weather. Soar like an eagle and enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside on silent wings. On clear days you can see the Chicago skyline and beyond.
A Mile High glider ride is: $295.00. You may purchase an additional ride for the same person for $140.00 at the field.
Glider Ride Terms and Conditions;
Gift Certificate must be used within 24 months from time of purchase.
NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS.
Glider rides are provided on any day we have operations, generally weekends and some weekdays and a commercial pilot is available, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Rides available from mid April through October, weather permitting.
We do not book reservations.
First come First Serve basis. (You may have to wait until a pilot and glider are available. We offer a patio deck with table and chairs where you may watch. You may bring your own picnic lunch).

PASSENGER RESTRICTIONS:
- You must weigh less than 210 lbs.
- You must be at least 4 feet tall.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at the field.
- You must bring a printed copy of your Gift Certificate. Rides will not be given without it.
