That was an experience to fly during a convergence line passage. it extended NW to SE as Don’s Skylight predicted, and as I caught the warm side and thermaled out to the NW. However, quickly realized the fast movement of the line would take me way SW, and impossible to get back to 55LL in a 1-26 with that new stiff NE wind.
Best decision was to cut flight short earlier than I wanted and make it back to to entry leg with a little margin.
