      Sorry, not totally aviation related!

      Since my arrival ten days ago nothing but rain, low hanging
      clouds and snow higher up. No operations at the near-by big and
      famous glider port called ‘Nieder Oeblarn’ where operations start
      mid mornings with tows over to the south facing Grimming (tallest
      free standing or isolated mountain in Europe) rock formations and
      away they go headed west along the Alps for long x-c flights. I
      was born only 5 mile away from there. Arnold is a good friend of
      mine!
