Since you asked; The none runway portion of the field could be rolled by someone that is checked out on the Ford tractor. The runway could be mowed. The white golf cart batteries need to be checked.
I will need some extra hands on Saturday for the following work.
Today I picked up a 1-26C that has been donated to the club by member Charlie Gries. Nice ship with a radio. It is on its trailer on the north side of the hangar.Pumpkin’s wings are on its trailer in the hangar and will need to be moved on Monday just up the road to Union IL for it’s paint job. What we need to do on Saturday is swap the two trailers. That will require the Pawnee and the PW-5 to be temporarily moved out of the hangar. The earlier we do this the better before the winds really get going. I will be at the field around 8am to start some prep work on the 1-26 trailer prior to the swap around 9am.
I’ll be there. But first – breakfast at 8 am at Allan’s corner… Petr
