I have been watching a YouTube video. I haven’t finished it yet, but… The name is “Worlds Fastest Glider Race-12 Lessons How to Win-Most Detailed Glider Race Analysis on YouTube” By ChessInTheAir. This guy knows his stuff and although it’s a very long video (2.5 hours) it is extremely well made and pinpoints most of the most common errors made that slow down (or if not made will speed up) cross country flights. This was in Nephi Utah so the altitude bands used don’t translate well to the upper mid-west but the concepts do. I recommend it to anyone wanting to know how the “Big Guys” do it. John Lincoln
